Speaking of mystery guests…
If you walk around the city of Dallas today, you may, possibly, potentially, see the Mavs hosting Cooper Flagg on a visit.
The Mavs are expected to host the presumed No. 1 pick on Tuesday. Details of the visit have been scarce, according to our Marc Stein, but the visit could slip into Wednesday, too.
Will Flagg actually workout for the Mavs? Probably not, considering the obvious: the Mavs, and the NBA world, has already seen enough when it comes to Flagg.
This whole Cooper Flagg situation, in my opinion, is starting to feel real. It started in shock, and now we're just eight days away from it becoming a reality.
With Flagg's pick imminent, it also makes analysts start to project how he will fit in with the Mavs. Additionally, it makes people wonder what else the Mavs could do to build around him moving forward.
