👋 Good morning! - Random thought, do y’all remember those old Oreo commercials with Peyton and Eli Manning? TV just hit different back then. One offseason, Peyton and Eli starred in the famous ‘Oreo Lick Race,’ and while it looked goofy on screen, Peyton later admitted he crushed through at least 50 Oreos during filming. - Ali Jawad

Cowboys limp into Week 5

The Dallas Cowboys walked away from Sunday night’s wild shootout with nothing more than a tie, and now they’re limping into a Week 5 matchup against the New York Jets. The good news? Reinforcements might finally be on the horizon.

Cornerback Caelen Carson and wideout Jonathan Mingo both returned to practice, beginning their 21-day window to be activated. It’s not a full comeback yet, but it’s a sign of life at a time when Dallas desperately needs it.

But the injury report still reads like a horror story. CeeDee Lamb was spotted rehabbing on the field, but he’s still an obvious DNP.

Tyler Booker is progressing well.

Safety Malik Hooker’s toe injury could keep him sidelined, tackle Tyler Guyton remains in concussion protocol, and Kavontae Turpin joined the list with a foot injury suffered against Green Bay.

Add in Miles Sanders and Tyler Smith all missing practice, and suddenly the Cowboys’ depth is getting tested everywhere.

So while hope is slowly creeping back into Dallas with a couple of returns, the reality is this roster is still dangerously banged up.

Can the Cowboys survive another week of attrition, or will the Jets take advantage of a wounded team clinging to .500 dreams?

Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving made headlines on the first day of Mavericks training camp in Vancouver. From new looks to familiar jumpers, the stars had plenty of eyes on them. But they weren’t the only stories worth following as the DLLS Mavs crew breaks it all down.

Plus our very own Marc Stein sat down with Mavs head coach Jason Kidd at camp to discuss the offense, Cooper Flagg, and more.

This kid is going to be a problem.
