👋 Good morning! - Fun fact: there are more trees on Earth than stars in the Milky Way. So to all you alien believers, this means technically, you’re more likely to bump into an oak tree than an alien… for now. - Ali Jawad

Cowboys’ big win comes with a major setback in the trenches

The Cowboys’ overtime thriller against the Giants came with a gut punch the next day. Starting center Cooper Beebe has gone down with an injury.

In Beebe’s place, backup Brock Hoffman is expected to take over, and he wasted no time making his presence felt in crunch time on Sunday.

Thrown into the fire for the final snaps of regulation and overtime, Hoffman showed both grit and a little bit of chaos in his first extended action of the season.

Now the Cowboys are facing a pivotal stretch with Hoffman anchoring the line. Coaches rave about his nasty playing style and leadership, but all eyes will be on whether he can steady the offensive line until Beebe returns.

Jadeveon Clowney sends clear message on who he is after signing with Cowboys

The Cowboys pulled out a 40-37 thriller on Sunday night, but the real headline came after the final whistle: Jadeveon Clowney is in Dallas.

The former No. 1 pick didn’t waste time explaining why he sees the Cowboys as the perfect fit. And his message was as confident as ever.

Clowney, now entering his 12th season, has built a reputation as one of the league’s toughest run defenders while still making his mark on quarterbacks.

He knows people wonder how much he has left, but he insists the answer will surprise everyone. The Cowboys think so too, betting big on a veteran they believe can make an instant impact.

Still, this signing comes with plenty of baggage. Dallas moved on from Parsons a few short weeks ago, and Clowney has no interest in stepping into his shadow. Instead, he says he’s in Dallas to write his own chapter, and it might be one of his most dramatic yet.

DLLS Dallas Stars Weekly

Dallas Stars prospects went toe-to-toe with Detroit, with a late rally sealing a wild 6-5 win. But the weekend wasn’t all glory, top pick Emil Hemming was a major letdown, while free-agent invite Jaxon Fuder stole the spotlight.

Former coach Pete DeBoer finally broke his silence on the infamous Jake Oettinger pull. And to top it off, Bill Guerin dropped by DLLS for a can’t-miss conversation that every Stars fan needs to hear.

Sorry to ruin your morning, Mavs Nation, but at least I am not ruining your fandom like Nico Harrison did. The Mavericks have just received some bad news: Kyrie Irving is set to miss an extended period, and the exact return date is unknown.

The DLLS Mavs crew breaks down why Dallas can’t afford to be without its superstar and what his absence means on and off the court.

Plus, a look back at Dirk Nowitzki’s tennis showdown and plenty more from around Mavs world.

Before we close the book on Week 2 enjoy Schotty firing up the Cowboys locker room postgame. Even Jerry was in on the moment 😂
