👋 Good morning! - Lately, the Cowboys have a knack for making every team look better, and every opponent look like a star. Just ask Luther Burden III, who entered with two yards on the season and walked away from Week 3 with 101. - Ali Jawad

Career day for Caleb Williams, nightmare for Cowboys’ defense

The magic ran out in Week 3. Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys were steamrolled by Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears, falling 31-14 in an ugly road loss that exposed every crack in this team.

A week after pulling off a dramatic comeback, there would be no such fireworks this time, only frustration.

Our good friends at CHGO are celebrating their win led by Williams, who carved up the Cowboys' secondary like it was practice, tossing a career-high four touchdown passes to four different receivers.

Dallas once again allowed explosive plays through the air, chunk gains of 65, 41, 35, and more, making the second year QB look unstoppable.

For a defense that just a few short years ago was once considered elite, the collapse is quickly becoming a disturbing trend.

And without CeeDee Lamb to lean on, the offense never had a chance. Prescott and company were forced to play from behind, and unlike last week, there was no fight left in this team.

If this is what life without No. 88 looks like, the Cowboys may have to get used to disappointment, and fast.

Jerry Jones still believes in what now after the loss?

Anthony Davis’ health might define the Mavericks’ season, is 60 games enough for fans to be satisfied? Max Christie’s starting case is shaky at best, while Cooper Flagg’s spacing impact could change the entire offense.

From trade talk to “unsung heroes,” this week’s Mailbag Monday has Mavericks fans buzzing with more questions than answers.

In case you forgot, hockey is just getting started and Justin Hryckowian wasted no time introducing himself to the preseason with a scrap that had Stars fans buzzing.

Mavrik Bourque showed flashes of why this camp is so important, cashing in a rebound to tie things up. And yes, the Stars somehow survived a preseason overtime AND shootout to take down the Blues in a wild opener.

Creative plays continue to impress every time. If only the Cowboys can pull off stuff like this.
