👋 Good morning! - Many of us were wondering and in a blink we got our answers as the Cowboys finally had an active day at the trade deadline with a pair of defensive moves, unfortunately for this season it could be too little to late. - Ali Jawad

Cowboys make back-to-back trades ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline
The Dallas Cowboys had quite the trade deadline day.
Dallas landed linebacker Logan Wilson earlier in the day on Tuesday, Jerry Jones pulled the trigger on an even bigger move, acquiring three-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman Quinnen Williams from the New York Jets.
It’s a blockbuster that sends a multiple pieces to New York, and brings one of the NFL’s premier interior defenders to Arlington.
For a team ranked near the bottom in total defense, Jones finally put action behind his words. Williams, just 27, has been a wrecking ball for the Jets since being drafted third overall in 2019, racking up 40 sacks and 141 pressures in his first six seasons.
Pairing him with guys like Kenny Clark and Osa Odighizuwa gives Dallas the kind of interior-exterior punch.
The Cowboys also addressed their linebacker woes by trading for Wilson, who led the Bengals in tackles three straight seasons.
It’s clear Jones wasn’t bluffing when he said help was on the way.
With two major defensive reinforcements added before the deadline, the Cowboys are betting big that their season isn’t over.
Although recovering from 3-5-1 is a long shot.

The Dallas Stars just won their most dramatic game of the season, rallying from 2-0 and 3-1 deficits to beat the Oilers 4-3 in a shootout.
Wyatt Johnston dished out three gorgeous primary assists while Mikko Rantanen hit the 300-goal milestone in style.
Casey DeSmith stood tall in net and Glen Gulutzan got the sweetest revenge, a win over his former team.

The Texas Rangers are staring down an offseason of chaos, and change might be coming fast.
With 12 free agents and a few stars potentially on the trade block, no one’s job is safe in Arlington.
Can the Rangers keep their elite pitching core together while finally fixing an offense that ran out of gas?

An iconic moment.
