👋 Good morning! - Here is today’s fun fact. In Madagascar in 2002, a soccer team lost a match on purpose by scoring 149 own goals. They were protesting bad officiating and literally kicked the ball into their own net over and over. Fans in the stands didn’t know whether to laugh, boo, or just leave. - Ali Jawad

Cowboys fans won’t ‘Cee’ 88 for a while
The Dallas Cowboys didn’t just lose to the Chicago Bears on Sunday, they lost their most important weapon.
Star wideout CeeDee Lamb went down with a high ankle sprain, and while he tried to gut it out and return, the limp was obvious and the pain was too much. By the second quarter, the All-Pro was officially ruled out, leaving Dak Prescott without his top target in what quickly spiraled into a 31-14 road defeat.
Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones confirmed Monday that Lamb is expected to miss 3–4 weeks, calling it “one of those protect-me-from-myself type of deals.”
Dallas had hoped to lean on Lamb against Green Bay next week, but now the offense will be forced to adjust on the fly.
Without him, the Cowboys managed just one touchdown in Chicago, a telling sign of how much No. 88 means to everything they do through the air.
The injury is a crushing blow to a team already dealing with questions on the other side of the ball, and it couldn’t have come at a worse time.
Lamb’s big-play ability is the engine that opens everything up, and now Dallas has to find answers from George Pickens, KaVontae Turpin, Jalen Tolbert, and Jake Ferguson.
The season isn’t lost, but for the next month, the Cowboys will have to prove they can survive without their superstar receiver.
Oh wait their is more
The Cowboys just can’t catch a break. Hours after learning star wideout CeeDee Lamb will miss 3–4 weeks, the team now has to absorb another gut punch: rookie right guard Tyler Booker is also sidelined with a high ankle sprain.
Booker, the Cowboys’ first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, had started every snap this season early on and looked like a stabilizing force on an offensive line already missing center Cooper Beebe.
Now, Dallas is scrambling for replacements with T.J. Bass, or Hakeem Adeniji in the mix to fill the void. Losing Booker means Dak Prescott’s protection takes another major hit, right as the Packers’ pass rush, led by that one guy, looms on deck.
With Lamb out and Booker down, the Cowboys are staring at a month-long stretch without two of their most important offensive starters.
The timing couldn’t be worse, and the pressure now shifts to the depth of Dallas’ offensive line to carry the load. The Cowboys’ margin for error was already thin, but now it’s about to be tested like never before.
