👋 Good morning! - Last night the Mavs opened up their season and if you didn’t tune in well… good for you is all I can say. - Ali Jawad

Mavs open season flat as Wemby dominates Flagg’s debut
Welcome to the Cooper Flagg era, but it didn’t exactly start with fireworks.
In his highly anticipated NBA debut, Flagg and the Mavericks were on the wrong side of a San Antonio beatdown that left fans stunned at American Airlines Center.
Victor Wembanyama stole the show, dominating on both ends while exposing Dallas’ size and spacing issues.
Anthony Davis and Dereck Lively II had no answers for Wemby’s length, as the Spurs turned the opener into a statement win.
Now, the focus shifts to how the Mavs respond.
The DLLS Mavs crew broke down what went wrong, what to fix, and why Friday’s matchup against a far weaker opponent could be exactly what Dallas needs to reset its season narrative.

At 3-3-1 the Cowboys will visit the 5-2 first place Broncos for Week 8.
Some good news for this week: while they won’t be available to play on Sunday, three key players had their 21-day practice window open yesterday as the Cowboys continue to regain full strength.

Good to have these guys back on TV.
