Speaking of spirit week: yesterday was our mystery guest day.
We had some wild guests (in case you haven’t heard the stories on the DLLS Cowboys show yesterday about Jeff and a parking garage, and Jesse “The Doo Doo Queen” Holley, you should) and we have some insightful ones.
As our Marc Stein put it, we had some royalty on the DLLS Mavs show.
Former Dallas Mavericks guard Rolando Blackman was a four-time NBA All-Star. He had success all over the world — literally. But life inherently has recency bias, so that means one of his most recent accomplishments is notable — at least in terms of his reputation.
Blackman, now a VP of corporate relations for the Mavs, has now been dubbed the team’s good luck charm after the latest draft lottery that valued the Mavs all the way to the No. 1 pick. He was the representative in attendance.
