Stars extend point streak… then disaster strikes in overtime
The Dallas Stars kept their road magic alive with an 11-game point streak, but couldn’t finish the job at Madison Square Garden, falling 3–2 in overtime to the New York Rangers.
Dallas held a 2–1 lead late in the third behind goals from Kyle Capobianco and Mikko Rantanen, only to watch New York claw back with a late equalizer and a Vladislav Gavrikov dagger in OT.
It was a game that shifted from control to chaos in a snap, and the Stars paid for it.
But the score wasn’t the biggest gut punch of the night.
Tyler Seguin went down early with an apparent left-leg injury and had to be helped off the ice, casting a massive shadow over everything that followed.
For a team already juggling lineup changes, losing a veteran leader and reliable two-way presence this early changed the tone of the entire night, and possibly the entire trip.
Still, Dallas showed fight. The penalty kill battled, Oettinger made big stops, and the road-point streak marched on, even if it ended in heartbreak. Now the question becomes whether the Stars can regroup, survive the injury news, and keep this heater rolling.

Jerry Jones spoke Tuesday morning and made it clear he sees only one path for the Cowboys to reach the playoffs, raising the stakes for Thursday night in a big way.
And yes, it was a TOTE THAT THANG Tuesday, which means the pressure (and the content) got real.

This happened yesterday 🙌

“Grandpa, why have the Giants been bad for years?”
“Well, pull up a chair. It all started with one photograph that cursed this team for generations.”
