Mavs top Thunder in Cooper Flagg’s preseason debut
Cooper Flagg didn’t need a hot start to make noise in his highly anticipated preseason debut 🔥.
The Mavericks rookie was scoreless in the first quarter, but once he settled in, the flashes came fast, silky finishes, sharp passes, and the kind of defensive instincts that had the fans buzzing. He finished with 10 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and a block… all in just one half of basketball.

Roster moves caused confusion, LTIR plans came into focus, and arena relocation rumors stirred the pot in a wild week for the Dallas Stars.
Veterans like Adam Erne are back in the mix, while prospects Justin Hryckowian and Arttu Hyry were unexpectedly sent down, setting up a cap gymnastics play with Jamie Benn headed to LTIR.
Oh, and Amazon cut Wyatt Johnston content while Jake Oettinger debuted a fresh new mask.
