👋 Howdy! This has been a really fun week. So far the Cowboys, Stars, and Rangers crews have all debuted their top-10 “what if?” moments in franchise history. If you missed one or want to watch them again, they’re all in one place on this playlist! The DLLS Mavs show will premiere tonight at 7 p.m. Central, and tomorrow morning we’ll have a special roundtable episode covering DLLS Sports’ top-10 featuring Clarence Hill, John Rhadigan, and Kevin Gray Jr. on the panel! That one will premiere at 10 a.m. Hope to see you in chat! — Bobby Karalla

The Rangers Had Such An Incredible Staff

Neftali Feliz was one of my favorite pitchers to watch during the glory days of Rangers baseball. He was young, he had electric stuff, and he always seemed so calm in high-leverage moments. Just the perfect closer. He had 72 saves across the 2010 and 2011 seasons, and it seemed like we had the next Mariano Rivera around here.
And then the World Series happened.
And then, unfortunately, 2012 happened. One of the top Rangers “what if?” moments, as Jeff Wilson and John Rhadigan see it, is wondering what could’ve happened had the 2011 staff stayed healthy. Feliz made the dreaded move to the starting rotation before the 2012 season and, thanks to Tommy John surgery, would appear in just 14 games combined during the ‘12 and ‘13 seasons. Colby Lewis only made 16 starts in 2012 and didn’t pitch at all in 2013. Alexi Ogando was limited to just 23 games in 2013. Derek Holland pitched just 16 games combined in 2014 and 2015.
And that’s how what could’ve been the most formidable pitching staff in baseball came to an end. Each of those guys contributed greatly to one or both of the World Series runs, and each of them had to watch in the following seasons while their replacements struggled and the team failed to climb back to the mountaintop.
Jeff Wilson laments what could’ve been here. And check out their whole top-10 show here!
New merch!

We just dropped some great new merch as part of our City Collection! Diehards get 20% off, and if you sign up to become a Diehard you can get a shirt of your choice for free! (I already picked up one of these, but I might also need to get that Nolan shirt.) Check them out here!

The NHL dropped the 2025-26 season schedule yesterday, and the DLLS Stars crew was all over it. Beloved former Star Logan Stankoven makes his return to Dallas on Oct. 25, game No. 8 of the season. Fans won’t have to wait long to wish their young old friend a warm hello. Sam Nestler highlights some of the other biggest games and stretches on the schedule here!

You’ll need to wait until 7 p.m. tonight to see the Mavs’ top-10 “what if?” moments, but Tim Cato dove into some of the honorable mentions, including what would’ve happened if Roddy B stayed healthy, what if Mark Cuban didn’t try to outsmart the CBA right after the Mavs won the title, and what if the Mavs weren’t able to successfully trade up for Luka in the 2018 NBA Draft? Check them out!
